I'm not one of those people who is dumb enough to think creating a major EDM hit is as easy as putting a microphone next to a dial-up modem and hitting record.
You have to admit, though, that once you actually make the music, your job gets a million times easier.
There certainly are artists out there who take the time to mix up their sets on a nightly basis, but most people value showmanship over diversity. There's no reason to switch things up when people want to dance to their favorite songs and maybe watch some flashing lights while doing so.
As a result, most DJ's don't do much on stage besides drinking heavily, clapping their hands and occasionally adjusting some knobs.
After the release of this video, however, I don't see how every major artist on the EDM scene doesn't somehow incorporate a gas stove into each performance.
As is the case with most remixes from the genre, it takes a while for things to really kick into high gear.
I don't want to spoil anything, but I will say that when the 1:10 mark rolls around, its time to hold onto your butts.
